Put the record between two sheets of glass and leave out in the sun for 20 mins etc till it flattens out. Bring the record in between the glass sheets back into the cool/shade, leave for another 10 mins to cool, might do the trick

I remember trying to watch a UA-cam video on an iBook G4 a few years ago, and even then, the video was lagging. I attempted to resolve the issue by changing the quality of Flash player to the lowest quality setting, but it still stuttered a bit every 10 seconds.

I still have it and the only defect it caused was a problem with its internal power supply, causing a deformation in the image and a buzzing noise. As I'm a technician, I fixed it myself and it continues to work normally and is kept as a souvenir of a time when tube TVs predominated.

"VHS players" again people who forget what the original Purpose of VHS was. It wasnt to sell content people, it was to record TV. Video rental only sprung up after people had already bought these machines for timeshift. I dont even think there was really ever such thing as a VCR that was only for playback and couldnt record.

All audiophiles need to accept that pretty much all modern re releases of old records or new current albums on vinyl are all digital files to begin with (whether a digital recording or digital remaster/restoration of an analogue recording).

Still kind of nervous about it. I do not have a high budget at all, really can only afford a Victrola or Crowley. I want a record player because I’ve got a Mick Ronson vinyl from the 70s I’ve been doing to play. But, this vinyl is discontinued and somewhat hard to find in good used quality and low price, so I really don’t want anything happening to it. This vinyl is really important to me, so should I just wait for a while until I have more money to spend? Or is it really that negligible of ‘damage’?

I have my dad's DCR-TRV330 that he bought new way back in 2001. It has recorded so much footage and I've spent many nights every year playing back memories for the past 12 years. This thing still works without any issue. It's incredible and frustrating that we can't get good products that just last anymore. This thing has NEVER been worked on!

I had an Emmerson one that was either AC, DC or took 427 D batteries. I used to take it when I went fishing, camping and on trips. The picture was lousey but the radio worked well enough. I soldered about 25feet of speaker wire to the antenna inputinside the case and could get reception pretty much anywhere. The thing that sucked about it was that it went through batteries like crazy if you used the TV much at all.

Your statement is general while Technics built a lot of different models. I still use my RS TR-313 & RS TR 210. The 313 has Dolby HX Pro as well as B &C. These look like a better line of deck than your deck. 🙂
